Recognition of Students & Educators for Month of September + Meet Interact Students

Phyllis Hicks BSN, RN, CLSSGB is the Executive Director of the Kidney Foundation of Central Pa. (KFCP) which recently celebrated 40 years of service to families living with chronic kidney disease in 28 counties covering an area of the NY State to Md borders.
She will be the presenter of the Rotary Club of Susquehanna Township's "Service Above Self" recognition to the educators who are selected by their peers and students who are selected by the ducators. Phyllis has been a member of the Rotary Club of Susquehanna Township since the Spring of 2022 and has helped out with the Interact Hope Hanna Garden and now working on a project with other club members for the HELP Ministeries.
Phyllis has been a nurse for more than 4 decades. Her career has included medical/surgical, critical care, community, and operating room nursing. She has been a nursing instructor, pharmaceutical representative, medical device nurse consultant, and supervisor of medical review for a major insurer.
As the Executive Director of the KFCP, she is committed to supporting patients and families managing their lives on some form of dialysis, seeking kidney transplants or living life with the new normal after kidney transplantation.
