The 63rd Annual RYLA Conference was held in District 7390 from June 8 to 12. It was a huge success for the 81 rising seniors in attendance! They learned about being an effective leader and that the best leaders are also the best listeners! The students participated in many activities throughout the week that included listening to motivational speakers, attending career seminars and most importantly having FUN!
At the closing Family Night Celebration on June 12, the top 4 conferees were announced. These conferees were voted on by their peers and selected to be the top conferees: Suha Rockwell (sponsored by the Rotary Club of Susquehanna Township), Jesse Kuriuki (Rotary Club of Colonial Park), Reagan Miller (Rotary Club of York-East) and Vladimir VonGetzie (Rotary Club of Hershey).
Suha Rockwell was also our club's student of the month recipient 2021, on Susquehanna Township high school council, school representative for the Susquehanna Township School Board, leader in sports, a peer counselor, and has volunteered many hours to service projects in the township
